Bengaluru: Dubai-based talent Pragna Ananth presents Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha

Bengaluru, Aug 9: Pragna Ananth, a 9th grade student of Gems Founders School, Dubai and disciple of Guru Vidushi Sapna Kiran (Director of Sankeerna School of Dance - Dubai) presented Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha at Gayana Samaja auditorium here on August 4.

Pragna entered the stage with beautiful costume and made a great first impression by performing Ganesha Vandane, Pushpanjali and created devotional mood. She held the packed auditorium over 700 people for two and half hours with traditional items of Bharatanatyam Margam such as Alarippu, Jatiswara, Shabdam, Varnam, Thillana and Padam amongst others.

The chief guest of the evening, veteran Kannada film actor Pranayaraja Shrinath praised the beauty, talent, expressions and hard work of the young girl. He also praised Guru Sapna Kiran and her guru Savitha Arun for continuing great ‘Shishya Parampara’ and their contribution to the Indian culture.

The host of the evening, proud parents of Pragna, Srilekha Ananth and Ananth Raghunath felicitated gurus, chief guests, special invitees, music team and instrumental people in hosting the successful event and delivered the vote of thanks.
