Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah takes a dig at BJP while wishing Advani

Bengaluru, Nov 8: Veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani is celebrating his 91st birthday today. Former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah who wished him on his birthday lamented that Advani's seniority and experience has not received suitable honour.

Siddaramaiah who wrote in his twitter account stated that Advani's guidance is necessary for protection of democracy in the country which is in anxiety. But he has indirectly criticized BJP leaders by stating that Advani's seniority and experience has not received suitable recognition.

Several elite people have wished Advani on his birthday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the contribution of L K Advani in the formation of the country is immense. “His decisions and policies are appreciated,” he said.

Union home minister Rajnath Singh, finance minister Arun Jaitley and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa have wished him on twitter. L K Advani was born in Karachi in 1927 and is identified as Bheeshma of BJP.
